A MASKED robber has escaped with cash from a Newmarket bookmakers following a night-time raid.
A MASKED robber escaped with a quantity of cash after striking at a bookmakers in Newmarket tonight.
The white man, who was wearing a black balaclava with a single eye hole, threatened staff at Ladbroke's in Old Station Road, Newmarket, at about 9pm on Thursday. Police have not disclosed what sort of weapon he was brandishing, although nobody was hurt.
He was about 6ft 1in tall, in his late 20s, of a slim build and wearing a black woolly jumper, black trousers and carrying a black bag.
