TWO armed balaclava-clad robbers stole a cash machine and till drawer after threatening staff and customers at a shop in Glemsford.
Police said the raiders burst into the Stars n Jars store on Hunts Hill about 8.50pm last night.
The men both had baseball bats.
A police spokeswoman said they snatched the till drawer containing a quantity of cash and also took a free-standing ATM machine.
They loaded the machine into the back of a blue Land Rover Defender vehicle, which had a beige canopy on the back.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the robbery, has information about the men or knows where the till drawer or cash machine is now to contact them on 01473 613500.
