FIRE chiefs believe a car was deliberately set alight near Stowmarket today.
Fire crews from Debenham and Ipswich were called to the blaze in Helmingham at 3am this morning.
The car was already well alight when firefighters arrived but crews were able to extinguish the flames by 3.20am.
Elsewhere, Mildenhall firefighters attended a car fire near Mildenhall woods at around 6.30am.
The crew had the fire under control within 20 minutes.
