A car was found in a ditch after apparently hitting a tree - but when police arrived the driver could not be found.
Concerned passersby reported seeing the crashed Audi S1 in Boot Street, Great Bealings, to Suffolk police this morning.
A police spokesman said: “Someone has come across a car that had collided with a tree and gone in to a ditch.
“But when we arrived to have a look, no one was in the car.”
Officers have put a “police aware” sticker on the car and will try to find the driver.
