A 17-YEAR-old was arrested today after balaclava-clad robbers raided a shop on the outskirts of Ipswich town centre.
Two males, believed to be teenagers, threatened a member of staff at Elite Clothing and Footwear in St Matthew's Street just after 10.20am.
Police said the pair ran into the shop with plastic bags and demanded clothes.
They then fled from the premises on foot towards St George's Street.
However, police were alerted and after a search of the surrounding area they arrested a teenage suspect in Berners Street.
The suspect, who lives in Ipswich, was taken into custody and is to be questioned at the town's police station by detectives.
