A bomb disposal unit was called out to a Suffolk village this morning after a grenade was discovered in a field.
The alarm was raised by a member of the public who spotted the item in Church Road, Barrow, at about 8.35am.
Suffolk police was also informed about the discovery.
Bomb disposal experts attended the incident but discovered the grenade had no explosives inside.
