Fire ripped through a storage building at a scrapyard in Beck Row,near Bury st Edmunds, in the early hours of this morning.
At one point, dangerous gas cylinders were involved in the blaze, which broke out shortly after 2.30am in Skeltons Drove, Beck Row.
Firefighters from Mildenhall and Brandon were initially called to the scene and found a storage building, containing gas cylinder and measuring 30m by 15m, was totally ablaze.
A water carrier from Newmarket was called in and crews set about extinguishing the flames using two hoses.
By 4.50am the fire was out and the clean up allowed to begin.
