DAVID Beckham gave newly-married Stephenie and Les Theobald a celebrity touch to their wedding when he posed for pictures with the happy couple.Mrs Theobald was totally astounded when the England captain offered her congratulations and gave her a little hug when he interrupted the usual family picture taking at the reception, at Five Lakes Hotel, Golf and Country Club.

Mrs Theobald was totally astounded when the England captain offered her congratulations and gave her a little hug when he interrupted the usual family picture taking at the reception, at Five Lakes Hotel, Golf and Country Club.

Mrs Theobald said: "It was a lovely moment. He said congratulations and hoped that we enjoyed the rest of our day.

"It was a wonderful wedding anyway with all my friends and family but he gave it that bit extra.

"The children were totally thrilled, as were many of the adults. It was really a nice thing for him to do and he did not have to do it."

Beckham had just completed an interview with BBC's Garth Crooks when he mingled with the small wedding party, which had booked a meal at the hotel before they knew England team was going to staying there ahead of tonight's game.

The couple were spliced at Colchester Registry office before the group of 25 close friends and family went to the Essex retreat.

Bridesmaids, Aundrea Abou-Farhat Davis and Carolyn Appleton also got in the pictures, while Beckham signed autographs for the younsgters which included, three year-old Lorna, 10-year-olds Janine and Joshua, Sami, 11, and 15-year old Jason.
