TRAFFIC is delayed on the A12 after an accident at a busy junction involving two cars.
The crash happened at the junction with the A1094 for Snape and Aldeburgh at just before 1pm.
A police spokesman said: “This was a two vehicle collision involving a black Ford Fiesta and a black Vauxhall Astra. The fire service was called to remove roof of one of the vehicle and ambulance are attending to a woman complaining of chest pains.”
The woman has been taken to Ipswich Hospital complaining of back injuries. She was given pain relief at the scene and travelled to the hospital by ambulance.
