Suffolk’s Bishop, Nigel Stock, is today nearing the end of a pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
The 10-day trip is being led by Bishop Nigel and 50 Suffolk churchgoers are taking part in the journey.
The Suffolk pilgrims have renewed their baptismal vows at the source of the River Jordan in Banyas and the Bishop has conducted a Eucharist on the site of Jesus’s miracle of the loaves and fishes.
