FIREFIGHTERS battled a blaze at a landfill site in Suffolk early today.
A crew from Princes Street was dispatched to the Biffa Waste Management site in Paper Mill Lane in Bramford shortly before 5am.
A fire service spokesman said they found a “deep seated fire” in a rubbish pit.
The crew brought the flames under control within an hour. No one was hurt.
A spokesman for Biffa described the fire as “minor” and said the business was operating as normal today.
