YOBS in a BMW tossed a bottle from their vehicle which struck a passing motorist, police have confirmed.
The incident happened in Mildenhall Road, Fornham All Saints, near Bury St Edmunds, at about 1.50pm last Wednesday.
The driver of an Austin Mini was heading towards Bury on the A1101 when a blue or purple BMW convertible car carrying three men drove past in the opposite direction.
A spokeswoman said a bottle was thrown from the BMW as it passed the Mini and it struck the Mini's wing mirror, damaging it.
