Two boys who were arrested in connection with an assault in Witham are due to appear in court this morning.

The boys, both aged 16, were arrested on Saturday June 10 in connection with a video that was circulating on social media that depicted an assault on a young boy.

The two boys have been charged with causing actual bodily harm.

They were remanded prior to their appearance which will be at Chelmsford Youth Court this morning, Monday June 11.
