Police closed a road while firefighters used cutting gear to release a driver trapped in the wreckage of a crashed car.
The crash happened just before 3pm today in Felsham Road, Bradfield St George.
Two fire crews and an emergency rescue vehicle from Bury St Edmunds were called to the scene, where a car had left the road and ended up in a ditch with one person trapped inside.
Police closed the road to traffic while the roof was removed from the car.
The male driver was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
