POLICE are appealing for residents help in finding a man suffering from Alzheimer’s who has not been seen since this morning, Tuesday June 26.
Robert Carter, 72, of Skitts Hill in Braintree, has been missing since 9.30am this morning when he was last seen by his wife.
Mr Carter is in the later stages of Alzheimer’s and has not eaten anything. He is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, with grey short hair and wears glasses. He was wearing black shoes and blue trousers.
Police say Mr Carter likes to go for walks and may have just continued walking. On a previous occasion when he went missing he was found about 20 miles away from home near the Hedinghams.
Police are asking anyone who sees him to contact them on 101.
