Braintree drug raids: Two charged

POLICE in Essex have charged two men from Braintree in connection with drug busts in the town earlier this summer.Addresses in Skitts Hill and Manor Street were raided on June 19 and two men were arrested.

POLICE in Essex have charged two men from Braintree in connection with drug raids in the town earlier this summer.

Addresses in Skitts Hill and Manor Street were raided on June 19 and two men were arrested. They have now been charged with offences relating to the illegal growing of cannabis.

A 57-year-old man has been charged with permitting the production of cannabis on his property while a 32-year-old man has been charged with producing of the drug.

Both were released on police bail and have been told to appear before magistrates in Chelmsford on September 12.
