A man has been airlifted to hospital after he was crushed by a falling window.
The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) received a 999 call at 3.32pm this afternoon following the incident off Halstead Road, Braintree.
A window fell approximately one metre and crushed the man, believed to be in his 40s.
A spokesperson for EEAST said: “The man had sustained potentially serious injuries to his chest and was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital for emergency treatment.”
He was taken by the Essex Air Ambulance.
