Braintree man located – day after he went missing

Police have located a man who failed to return home after going for a walk.

Gale Cobden went missing after telling his wife he would return to his Braintree home within an hour.

The 67-year-old was last seen at about 12.30pm on Thursday, September 21, but was found at about 9.20pm the following evening.

Essex Police thanked the public for helping officers locate Mr Cobden.
