Three people arrested in relation to alleged mistreatment at an Essex care home will now appear in court after answering bail.
Four people were arrested in total as part of an investigation into allegations against care staff at the Old Deanery Care Village, in Braintree, which followed a BBC Panaroma programme
They have now all answered bail and three have been told they will be reported for offences.
Lorna Hortilano, 44, of Hammond Place, Braintree, has been reported for two offences under the Protection of Harassment Act 1997 and one offence under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Adeshola Adediwura, 32, of Clockhouse Way in Braintree, has been reported for one offence of assault by beating, one offence under the Protection of Harassment Act 1997 and one offence under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
45-year-old Braintree woman, Anita Ray, of Victoria Street, has been told she has been reported for one offence of assault by beating, two offences under the Protection of Harassment Act 1997 and one offence under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
They will all appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on August 26.
Another woman was told no further action against her was planned because of ‘insufficient evidence’.
