Brandon bungalow ‘heavily smoked-logged’ in blaze

Fire crews extinguished a bungalow blaze within 40 minutes in west Suffolk last night.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to the property in Robin Walk, Brandon, around 10.05pm.

Crews from the town and Thetford found the home “heavily smoke-logged.” A hose reel was used to extinguish the fire, which was out by 10.40pm.

Fire appliances were back at base by 11.40pm.
