Racegoers will be able to sample 31 beers and ales at Newmarket Racecourses’ annual Beer Festival from Thursday September 27 - as the three-day Cambridgeshire Meeting gets underway at the Rowley Mile. They include beers from Suffolk, Essex. Cambridgeshire and beyond.

This year’s Beer Festival will be delivered in association with 28 breweries from across 15 counties from across East Anglia and beyond, and will provide racegoers with a wide selection of beers, real ales and ciders to accompany live music and top-class racing over the three days.

To celebrate five years of the Beer Festival, Newmarket Racecourses recently ran a competition to name one of Milton Brewery’s ales, with the winning name provided by Chris Farrington: Hops on Favourite. He won two Premier admission tickets to the Saturday of the Cambridgeshire Meeting.
