The event takes place on Saturday May 9 from 10am-4pm and the following day from 2-5pm.

As part of the exhibition the museum is asking for people to share their memories and photographs of celebrations marking the end of the Second World War in Europe, or pictures belonging to relatives who lived in the town at the time.

Images can be scanned with originals returned.

The exhibition will be opened by the town mayor.
