A family run funeral home had a short trip to its new home – relocating to a former sheepskin coat shop just two doors down from its old premises.

Rosedale Funeral Home only had to change the number on its Upper Olland Street address in Bungay, where the firm is hosting an open day and coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on Thursday, September 25 – with a chance for people to talk openly about their final wishes and ask any questions of the professionals.

Director Simon Beckett-Allen said: “We have been waiting a long time for the right property to become available and when the old Nursey’s premises became available and Tim Nursey showed us round, we knew it was meant to be.”

After the new chapel of rest was blessed, the home was opened by consultant George Ling and Logan, son of funeral director Chloe Middleton.
