Police are investigating a burglary in Poslingford near Clare where an air rifle and jewellery was stolen.
The burglary took place between 2pm and 4.30pm on Monday, July 16, at a house in The Street.
According to a spokesman for Suffolk police, an unknown offender forced a rear door open to gain entry to the building and then carried out an untidy search.
A Gamo Phox air rifle and a number of items of jewellery were stolen during the raid, the spokesman said.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious people in area around the time of the burglary or knows anything that could assist officers in their investigation is asked to call Suffolk police on 101 quoting crime reference number 39666/18.
