Witnesses are being called for after a bag containing medication was stolen from a park in Bury St Edmunds.
The incident occurred between 9.30am and 9.45am Sunday, November 17 in the Abbey Gardens. The victim had put his grey shoulder bag down on a seat near to the aviary, from where it was stolen.
The bag contained prescription medication including oramorph, MST continus, diazepam and warfarin. This medication could be potentially harmful to someone who is not prescribed to take it and anyone finding it is asked to hand it in immediately to Bury St Edmunds Police Station.
Anyone who witnessed anybody acting suspiciously in the area or who has any information about this theft is asked to contact Bury Central Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
