Residents and guests enjoyed festive celebrations at Davers Court, in Shakers Lane, and had the opportunity to start their Christmas shopping early with a number of stalls which were selling seasonal crafts and gifts.

A selection of festive treats were also on offer, including a Christmas cake sale, and Trevor ‘Budgie’ Walton provided a Christmas sing-a-long of the residents’ best-loved carols around the tree.

Wendy Harvey, home manager at Davers Court, said: “There have been so many highlights at Davers Court over the past year, so our Christmas fete was a great opportunity to reflect and celebrate with our friends, family and residents here at the home.

“It is important to us to forge relationships with the local community, and we all had a lovely time sharing the festive feeling with our guests on the day.”
