PEOPLE are being urged to head down to their local and try something different in celebration of Cask Ale Week, which starts tomorrow.
John Bexon, head brewer at Greene King, in Bury St Edmunds, and his team of ale experts are raising a toast to the theme of this year’s annual event, which is “Try Before you Buy”.
He said: “We’re passionate about introducing people to ales and Cask Ale Week is the perfect opportunity for people to give it a try.
“As proud local brewers since 1799 we would urge ale aficionados and novices alike to head to their local and make the most of this celebration of Britain’s national drink.”
