Two burglaries took place in the same street in Bury St Edmunds earlier this week.

The incidents occurred between 12pm Monday August 26 and 12.30pm Tuesday August 27 at neighbouring houses in Sicklesmere Road.

At the first property a window was smashed to gain entry and an assortment of cash was stolen including £200 and approximately 100 Euros and 300 US dollars.

The second burglary also saw a window smashed to gain entry to the house and the victim’s car, a silver Nissan Pathfinder, was stolen. The offenders also took all of the victim’s clothes and shoes.
