Suffolk Police have charged a woman today following the murder of Peter Avis, at Bury St Edmunds, in January.
Mr Avis’s body was found on Friday, January 13, at his home above the Collis and Son jewellery shop, in the town’s Abbeygate Street.
Aleksandra Karpiuk, aged 27 years, from Lake Avenue, Bury, has been charged with conspiracy to commit a burglary at the jewellers between December 1 and January 13.
She has been bailed to appear before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, May 9.
