The retail chain is set to tour the region on a tractor promoting local produce, starting with a breakfast stop at 9am at Castle Park, Colchester, where the retailer’s Producer of the Year county contenders Wicks Manor Pork and Ken Green Fish Merchants will be handing out fish and sausages. It then heads for lunch in Ipswich, where Purely Pesto and Havensfield Eggs will be offering samples, and dinner in Norwich, where there will be Buxton Potato and Gnaw Chocolate giveaways.

Stores boss Roger Grosvenor said: “Join us for some free local food, help us celebrate the people behind these tasty products and cast your votes.” Public voting for the Producer of the Year ends online and in stores on January 31.
