Students from across Essex celebrated the completion of their course in style at the Writtle University College annual Presentation Day on Friday, June 23.
The ceremony, held at All Saints Church in Writtle, near Chelmsford, celebrated the achievements of students completing courses in Agriculture, Countryside, Art & Design, Floristry, Animal Studies, Equine, Horticulture and Sport.
Dr Jenny Thorpe, head of further education quality, said: “The presentation day marks our students’ achievements throughout the year and is a particularly proud moment for them, their family and friends as well as Writtle University College’s staff.”
With 97% finding a place in education or work, achievement rates were high, she added. “We would like to congratulate all our students on their achievements and wish them every success as they take their next steps, whether those are in education or work,” she said.
