Suffolk-based enterprise agency Menta has unveiled plans for expansion and refurbishment at its main managed business centre in Haverhill.

A rengeration of the site at 21-27 Hollands Road will include the addition of four new units, bringing the total to 32, along with a new reception area, a coffee shop and support facilities.

The project, being undertaken by Menta in partnership with St Edmundsbury Borough Council, will also see the creation of new dedicated centre co-ordinator job.

However, Menta is to withdraw from the management of its secondary business centre in Haverhill, at 2 Hollands Road, with St Edmundsbury council taking on the responsibility. Existing tenants will be able to remain at the centre.

Menta, a not-for-profit organisation, rents out a total of more than 40 business units in Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill on “easy in, easy out” terms, and offers virtual office services such as call answering and mail collection for businesses based elsewhere.

It also runs a programme of business skills masterclasses and workshops and regular networking sessions in Bury Haverhill and Woodbridge, under the Coffee Means Business brand, as well as the annual Menta Trade Fair, taking place this year at The Apex in bury on Tuesday, October 3.
