Tottenham Hotspur weren’t quite able to cut it in the Premier League, just missing out on this year’s title to Leicester City.
But the North London football club has just taken delivery of a new fleet of machines from Ipswich turf care equipment firm Ransomes Jacobsen.
The electric-powered utility vehicles, from Ransomes Jacobsen’s sister brands Cushman and E-Z-GO, will be used for transport at Spurs’ training centre in Enfield.
They include six Cushman Hauler PRO 72-volt electric utility vehicles, two Cushman four-seater Shuttles with bespoke cargo beds, two specially-designed stretcher/ambulance vehicles and an E-Z-GO Express Shuttle 6, for transporting VIP guests around the 77-acre site.
The units were supplied through the club’s local branch of Essex-based dealer Ernest Doe & Sons.
Darren Baldwin, Tottenham’s head of playing surfaces and estates, said: “These vehicles have been procured under our preferred supplier agreement with Does and Ransomes Jacobsen.
“They replace the existing fleet we’ve been operating for the past three years and include the latest 72-volt battery technology which gives significantly increased operating time and range.”
