A Suffolk seafront hotel has matched its sister business by scooping a national accolade.
The White Lion Hotel at Aldeburgh has been selected for a coveted AA Silver Star Award. It follows a similar award for the Brudenell, also in Aldeburgh, last year when the new accolade was launched. Both are owned by the TA Hotel Collection.
The business was judged on its standards of hotel keeping, hospitality, service and cleanliness as well as its food offer.
General manager Peter Osborne said: “We owe both these fantastic awards to the hard work and dedication of our teams. They would never have been possible without them. My sincere thanks and congratulations to everyone involved.”
The 38 bedroom hotel lies opposite the town’s beach and fishermen’s huts.
