Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa has received a silver award in the 2016 VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.
The family-owned leisure business, on the Suffolk-Essex border, was placed second in the Best Business Tourism Venue category, behind gold award winner Crewe Hall, in Cheshire.
Dartington Hall from Devon picked up bronze award in the category, with and Seaham Hall Hotel in County Durham and Highbullen Hotel Golf and Country Club, also in Devon, both highly commended.
