The head of a flavours and fragrances firm is celebrating after notching up 25 years with the business.
Daemmon Reeve, group chief executive officer at Treatt, reached the milestone on January 2.
He started with the firm, which provides ingredient solutions for the flavour, fragrance, personal care and consumer goods industries from its base in Bury St Edmunds, in 1991 as a lab technician, and has worked his way up through the business, taking on management roles in fields as varied as technical, operational, sales and purchasing, before moving to the USA as chief executive officer of Treatt USA in July 2010.
In August 2012, he became group CEO. He now divides his time between the UK and Florida, where Treatt has a plant in the middle of the citrus belt.
“After 25 enjoyable years it is amazing to look back and reflect upon the progress the business has made in that time, but more importantly it is exciting to envisage how far the team at Treatt can take the business tomorrow,” he said.
