Innovation Martlesham (IM), the cluster of hi-tech firms based at BT’s Adastral Park research campus near Ipswich, has launched a competition for innovative ICT solutions businesses with potential to meet some of the key challenges facing local councils.
The competition, which is being led by IM with support from Ipswich Borough Council (IBC), BT and University Campus Suffolk (UCS), aims to build on the success of a contest held by IM last year.
The winner will be offered six months’ free office accommodation in the IM Business Incubator, with full incubator support, plus access to BT’s research and technology heads of practice, research and development support from UCS and access to professionals from IBC.
“This is an example of how IM, in association with its partners, offers aspiring individuals and companies the chance to become part of, and enhance, a growing ICT sector in the East of England,” said a spokesman for IM.
