The usually peaceful paddocks at the Suffolk Punch Trust reverberated to the sound of vintage vehicles, cars and tractors this weekend.
The second Punch Run & Gathering at the Trust’s Colony Stud in Hollesley combined equine and engine horsepower.
Now the Trust’s main fundraiser of the year, the two-day event featured a large parade and display of vintage commercial and agricultural vehicles, among other unique exhibits such as a steam showman’s wagon.
Other attractions included a vintage funfair, classic cars and motorbikes, jousting and dressage.
After all the vintage vehicles and fairground fun, there was live music and “Dance on the Grass” in the evening, with food from the Suffolk Punch Café.
