The Government has announced a new grant scheme which allows English dairy farmers to apply for £5million-worth of grants to develop new market opportunities through co-operation.
Under the grant scheme, groups of dairy farmers can apply for grants of between £25,000 and £1m to establish new cooperation structures, such as producer groups and cooperatives.
They can also invest in technology to take advantage of new market opportunities.
The closing date for submitting outline applications is February 28.
