SUFFOLK online consultation and community engagement specialist Consense was among the winners at the inaugural national Renewable Energy Infrastructure Awards.
Consense, based at Martlesham Heath, beat off competition from seven other finalists in the “Advisor of the Year - Technical” category for its Open Debate online system, which enables consultations to reach a broad cross-section of the community.
The awards were organised by the trade publications New Civil Engineer and Materials Recycling Week to and covered the entire renewables sector.
Jessica Topham, director at Consense, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to win this award. This is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our small but highly skilled team who work tirelessly to achieve success for our clients.
“To be chosen as winners in this category is fantastic recognition for us and should help inform those in industry about the benefits of meaningful and effective community consultation in renewable energy projects”
