LONG-time member Roger Barcham has been appointed chairman of the Ipswich & Suffolk Small Business Association (ISSBA).
Mr Barcham, who runs Ipswich-based commercial photography business BMS Imaging and joined the ISSBA committee earlier this year, will serve a two-year term in the role.
He takes over from interim chair Kim Brown, who will continue to assist in the role of vice-chair.
Mr Barcham said: “I’m pleased and delighted to have been asked to take on this demanding but very rewarding role. I’ve been a member of ISSBA for many years, and throughout that time, I’ve found it to be an essential part of my networking and marketing strategy.
“ISSBA celebrated its 25th anniversary just a couple of months ago, a very proud moment for us all. The priority for the future is to continue to make ISSBA relevant and valuable to its membership, and we will re-evaluating our offering and our appeal over the coming months.
“It’s an exciting time for ISSBA, but in the current economic climate, a challenging one too,” he added.
