A ZIP-WIRE treetop adventure firm continues to aim for the heights, with new courses planned across the UK, the United States and Australia.
Bury St Edmunds-based Go Ape is adding to its 26 UK courses in 2011 with new sites at Crathes near Aberdeen and Itchen Valley near Southampton, thanks to Clydesdale Bank’s Investing for Growth initiative.
Also on the agenda are three more courses to add to one already up and running in the US, while planning permission is now being sought for a first site in Australia, with plans for a further 15 or so in the pipeline.
Ex-army officer Tristram Mayhew and his wife Rebecca founded the company in 2002 after they came across a treetop adventure course while on holiday in France, and manage the business from Suffolk.
