ANDREW Chalk has become chair of the Chartered Institute of Marketing's East of England regional board following the retirement of Mike Smith from the role after four years.
ANDREW Chalk has become chair of the Chartered Institute of Marketing's East of England regional board following the retirement of Mike Smith from the role after four years.
Mr Chalk will combine the role with championing the Chartered Institute of Marketing's Small Business Group in the East.
He is a marketing graduate with more than 20 years' experience, holds a Chartered Institute of Marketing diploma and is a Chartered Marketeer. Last year, he founded marketing consultancy Outside In Marketing Ltd.
Jonathan Hart, regional director for the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the East, expressed his delight at Mr Chalk's appointment.
“Andrew's strategic management and business planning experience will contribute much to our regional board and will build on Mike Smith's excellent work. Andrew's efforts will contribute to the vibrant marketing industry evident in this region,” he said.
