ANDREW Fuller has joined Stowmarket-based malt and malted products company Muntons plc as a product development technologist.Mr Fuller, who joins the Muntons Malted Ingredients technical support team, will be responsible for the technical development of the firm's product ranges, which include malted flakes, malt flours, malted flour blends and malted kibbled cereals for a host of product applications including those in the bakery and food industry.

ANDREW Fuller has joined Stowmarket-based malt and malted products company Muntons plc as a product development technologist.

Mr Fuller, who joins the Muntons Malted Ingredients technical support team, will be responsible for the technical development of the firm's product ranges, which include malted flakes, malt flours, malted flour blends and malted kibbled cereals for a host of product applications including those in the bakery and food industry.

The appointment marks the beginning of an expansion of the technical sales support team within MMI as the market for natural and healthy food ingredients and clean labelling continues to grow.

“Andrew's background, in new product development for the food industry via supermarkets, will prove a major asset in his new role,” said the firm's technical sales support manager Jonathan Pritchard.

“Growing the team is essential if we are to offer the service that our customers demand and these days expect.”

One of Mr Fuller's responsibilities will be the testing and proving of in-house recipes and applications of malted ingredients.
