Sponsors and partners have met for the official launch of this year’s Anglia Business Exhibition.
Guests at the event, sponsored and hosted by Quay Place, close to the Ipswich Waterfront, were welcomed by Roger Barcham, chairman of the Ipswich & Suffolk Small Business Association (ISSBA), which organises the exhibtion in association with Suffolk Chamber of Commerce.
The 2017 Anglia Business Exhibition is being held on Wednesday, May 10 at The Ipswich Hotel, Copdock, with which the organisers have agreed a three-year deal to host the event.
Mr Barcham said: “We are really looking forward to hosting the event this year at The Ipswich Hotel. The Anglia Business Exhibition is the county’s most successful business-to-business exhibition and we are extremely proud of our achievements over the past 21 years.
“The event is continually evolving and we could not have achieved this without the tremendous support from all of our sponsors.
“The event relies on all of our partners and sponsors to maintain the low cost to exhibitors, to make it inclusive, an exhibition for all. We must not forget what ISSBA is all about which is supporting smaller businesses; our sponsors enable them to be part of a large exhibition to showcase their business and to exhibit alongside larger organisations.”
He added: “Sarah Howard, John Dugmore and all of their team at the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce have been instrumental in helping us on our journey over recent years and thank them for their tremendous support as our exhibition partner.
“I would also like to thank Ginny Idehen, manager at Quay Place for her team’s hospitality and to Whites Catering. The new heritage and wellbeing centre is a stunning new venue located by Ipswich waterfront, and was the perfect setting for our sponsors launch.”
Top tier strategic partners for the 2017 Anglia Business Exhibition include Suffolk County Council, Ipswich Borough Council, Free Rein, Archant and Business Connected.
A breakfast on the day of the event is being sponsored by Fleximize and other sponsors include Gotelee, Gipping Press and Woodward Markwell Insurance Brokers (platinum), New Anglia Growth Hub and the University of Suffolk (gold) and React Computer Services, Hintlesham Hall and Basepoint (silver).
