Lane Farm Country Foods in Brundish, near Framlingham, has worked with celebrity chef Delia Smith to produce a pork, sage and onion sausage meat for her festive recipes.
The recipe is made on Ian and Sue Whitehead’s farm from home-reared pork, and features on www.deliaonline.com. “We’ve known Delia for many years and it’s been fantastic working with her to produce a special sausage meat for Christmas,” said Ian.
“The mix is based on her mother’s own recipe from years back. It is quite rich because of the amount of sage that goes into it and, like all of Delia’s recipes, it really works.”
The special sausage meat is designed for making sausage rolls, or stuffing at Christmas time. There is a step by step video on the website to show you how.
Lane Farm Country Food’s Pork, Sage & Onion Sausage Meat is available in local farm shops across Suffolk, as well as East of England Co-op stores in the region.
