A Bury St Edmunds digital communications firm is planning further growth after acquiring another web-based company based in the town.
NetXtra is also set to take on all the staff at Marketing Interactive UK Limited, which trades as mi, bringing its total workforce at its Kings Road site to 30 as it gears up for more expansion by acquisition.
NetXtra designs and develops websites and the infrastructure around them, mainly for membership, charity and not-for-profit organisations, while mi focuses on ecommerce customers. NetXtra boss Simon Palmer said: “There are many synergies between NetXtra and mi in terms of our work ethic and values. Together we are much stronger.”
mi managing director Rob Masson said: “This is a great opportunity for both businesses.”
