EX-FORCES personnel are being given a new direction with a business training course run by Colchester business advice centre Colbea.
The course, entitled Enterprise Pathfinder, provides an introduction to business for Services personnel who are thinking about becoming self-employed, would like to set up a business, or simply want an insight into business.
It is funded by the Forces and gives a broad overview of the business world to people who have spent several years as military personnel but now want to move on to careers within civilian life.
Colbea business adviser Bob Bunn said the Colchester jobs fair was one of several UK locations where Colbea was promoting Enterprise Pathfinder training over the coming months.
“The Enterprise Pathfinder Course looks at how businesses are set up, how they operate and the key skills that successful business people need. It shows delegates how to assess what they've learnt during their careers in the Forces and build on those skills as they step out on a new path,” he said.
More details of the course are available at www.colbea.co.uk/pathfinder.
