The Anglia Business Exhibition, (ABE16) is now taking bookings for its 2016 event, which takes place at Trinity Park, Ipswich, on Wednesday, June 15.

The annual trade show, organised by the Ipswich and Suffolk Small Business Association (ISSBA) in association with the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, grew from small beginnings as the ISSBA Trade Fair to the Suffolk Business Exhibition, and eventually, the Anglia Business Exhibition.

ISSBA chairman Chris Marsh said his organisation was “absolutely delighted” to announce plans for the growth and further development of the exhibition this year.

“What is even more special is that we will be celebrating our 20th anniversary and we have some very exciting plans to celebrate this landmark event,” he said.

“With over 250 exhibitor stands and over 1500 business professionals all in one place, the event is the ideal opportunity to showcase your business, large or small, everyone is welcome.

“The Property Home and Investment Show which was held in the Exhibition Centre last year also moves into the main marque with its own dedicated area.”

He added: “I would like to thank John Dugmore and his team at the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, who are again our exhibition partners. Their support, as well as the support of all our other strategic partners and sponsors, is paramount to us putting on such a successful event.

“We are also delighted to announce that Phil Carpenter, former managing director of Bose UK will be joining us as our keynote speaker at the Anglia Business Exhibition sit down networking breakfast, which this year is being sponsored by Larking Gowen Accountants. The breakfast was a huge success last year and welcomed as an added attraction to the event. We are extremely proud of the growth of the exhibition in the last 20 years.”

“The Anglia Business Exhibition is free to attend and is a cost and time-effective way to connect with hundreds of business owners and companies under one roof. Strategic Partners confirmed to date include: Suffolk County Council, Ipswich Borough Council, Free Rein and Town 102. Sponsors confirmed to date include: Larking Gowen, Realise Futures, Gotelee Solicitors and East Staging.

“The Anglia Business Exhibition continues to grow year on year, and Suffolk Chamber of Commerce is proud to once again be delivering this event alongside ISSBA.”

John Dugmore, chief executive of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, said: “It is a great opportunity for businesses to build their contacts, showcase their services and gain a competitive edge at one of the most popular commercial events in the Suffolk calendar.

“The exhibition will be packed with innovative products and services as well as a good mix of small and start-up companies, alongside some of the biggest and most influential businesses in our county.

“We would encourage anyone who wants to do more business to come to the exhibition. It is good for Suffolk, it is good for our economy and it is good for business.”

After the sell-out success of last year’s event and a waiting list for potential exhibitors, ISSBA are strongly advising firms to book early to avoid disappointment.

Businesses are invited to book their stand via www.angliabusinessexhibition.com.

To take part, you must be a member of either Ipswich & Suffolk Small Business Association (ISSBA) or Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, or both.
