Two former Suffolk care workers have set up a recruitment agency specialising in placing healthcare professionals.
Samantha Cage and Adam Storey both have many years background working in domiciliary care - experience they aim to bring to bear in their new venture - Ocala Healthcare.
Ocala Healthcare aims to support care providers in Suffolk and Norfolk whom have a temporary shortfall of staff to meet Care Quality Commission standards in staffing, as well as assisting care providers whom have been long term understaffed to secure and retain permanent staff.
“Our time as healthcare assistants working in care homes gives us a unique perspective, allowing us to genuinely empathise and understand the challenges that the managers, care workers, agency workers and the residents face when providers are short staffed,” said Samantha.
“We have started Ocala Healthcare with the firm belief that what we will provide to care providers will be a quality service that will not only stand out in a competitive market, but we also want to be a leader in the market to bring about change in the industry.
She added: “We want to build a sustainable business that puts quality of service and passion for great care first. Healthcare is unlike any other recruitment sector and we believe in people before profit.”
